April 17, 2024By popular demand, this summer I will be teaching two advanced-level revision workshops. These will be total-immersion courses that focus entirely on the craft of revising fiction. For the occasion, I have created a course reader, which contains published short stories along with earlier drafts of those stories. We will compare the two versions. The course reader also provides conversations with the authors about the writing process.
The Zoom workshop begins June 30 and meets every other Sunday until August 25.
The in-person workshop begins July 6 and meets every other Saturday until August 31 in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.
